Bastille - Devlog #3 & More

Been making some progress! the last version will be finished in MV as the final tech demo but I have now made the switch to MZ thanks to the homies from Too Sweet Studios. I am their consultant for their project but it was done in MZ but I needed a copy and they hooked it up!

So now I’m learning the in and outs and liking it (while still being frustrated) compared to MV so moving forward all my projects will be done in MZ except for like 1, which I will announce on the bottom.

So I spent yesterday working on a custom UI for the battle field and have gotten it kind of close to how I want and able to adjust the dungeon HUD. (Thanks ChatGPT!). I am also now using custom graphics thanks to Elvgames for their Bundle, so a lot of my projects will be using their assets.

I haven’t done any Database work just yet but I might try to work on that when I come back from Orlando this weekend. But peep the screenshots below!


Another thing I’d like to bring up for future projects moving forward, this isn’t necessarily part of the devlog, but I wanted to mention it.
