July Tech Progress

Jul 14, 2026

Hello everyone, got some big updates to share with you but first, I apologize for the late posts, I’m sure I don’t have regular readers yet but now I’m here to share some cool stuff.

I am in the middle of migrating all my Windows-Based PCs at home to Linux. I have been using my laptop (the one I’m using now) on Parrot OS and have a parition made for my gaming pc at home with Nobara Linux which I have been enjoying so far. I’m going to mess around with it still but I’m thinking I’ll go full Linux before September.

I’ll also be taking my JAMF 200 course/exam in late July so I’ll be a step closer to becoming a System Administrator. Though I want to stay in the IT field, I wouldn’t going back to into doing SCA or QA work. I’m also open to looking at Front End Developer jobs as well. I’m still doing programming exercises to keep my mind sharp but we will see.

Now for the big stuff.

I been working on using SQwebRPG for my own personal game, Tales of the Idle Mirage and have vibe coded a lot of new stuff that’s only unique to my game, such as a cleaner admin panel to create things and a different color scheme. Not much about the game has been introduced but it will be a DND-inspired co-op rpg. I have a lot of ideas I want to implement but it has been coming a long nicely. I’ll probably take a break from this soon to continue working on Gralina.
