I graduated with my MS in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance! It’s been such a grind lately and haven’t been blogging as much I wanted to. I’ll get another post regarding my last weeks and how I had to redo the capstone a couple of times and what my topic was. I just started Game Off 2025 using pico-8 and hoping to get started on the actual game soon. I’ll be in Las Vegas for Pokemon Regionals in a few weeks.

Some team news for mockinbird.dev since its been awhile but I’m going to pivot the team to a small indie team that works/build games using old tech (and maybe some new depending on the project) such as Byond. I’m still going to have the main focus for mockinbird.dev to be a game jam team so we will be working mostly with RPG Maker and Byond. Our Game Jam tech will now either be RPG Maker or Pico for quick development and used as framework for future projects.

Hey everyone, it’s been a couple months since I last blogged but life has been crazy and I’m still job searching! I did pass the D487 Exam and now working on D488. I am 1 exam and 2 essays away from finishing and looking to get that done before October. My plan is to work on D488 by the end of June and start the first paper in July and start my last course in August.

First retake I gotta do. Sorry for the late post but if I had to guess I was probably just about 3-5 questions away from passing out of 66. D487 has a lot of terms and I will need to study up on them as well as the differences between AGILE/Waterfall. Thankfully I’m still ahead by 2 months. Hoping to do a course once a month but I will try to get a retake scheduled soon and start on D488 next.

Nothing major to note, just been studying for D487. I didn’t do too bad during the practice OA but I think I’ll take another practice one and hop in for the actual exam sometime next week. I did just release the first version of my web rpg framework that was help built using AI. Now that the source is up, I hope someone can make something cool with it. Otherwise, I’ll be going through and refactoring and doing bug fixes when I see it.

My last portion of Fin Aid has pulled through with them loans but I am defientily starting my last term now. 4 classes left, 6 months to go. D487 is back and I’m hoping to finish the study materials by the end of the weekend and study for the exam next week. Started work on idleMirage, I’ll try to post as much as I can on it as I’m messing around with AI while implementing my own logic and testing for it.

Just finished moving to Texas, dropped my Secure System Design Class as I wasn’t going to finish it on time but I will start the April term next week. Will see you guys then.
