Multiplayer Game Jam 2022

Nothing too huge but I'm putting together a team with some of the folks over at mockinbird.dev to compete in our next Game Jam this fall!

Some of our teammates have experience with Unity but not with Photon so this will be interesting. I'll most likely be taking over creative design and initial code as I am also learning C#/Unity on the side with BASIC/ASM6502.

So far so good.

Got a udemy course so I'll let you guys know how that goes.

The structure of C# kinda reminds me of Java.

Some tech news!

I just started a new role and getting my foot wet in the Cyber Security world! I'll be auditing code making sure there are up to date and nothing is wrong (Hopefully no body sticking in hidden crypto miners in their code)

I'm currently still onboarding/training but the company sounds really good to work with so I'm hoping to learn more in the mean time.

I started learning Assembly and C64 Basic again so I'm hoping to punch out some cool homebrew with some real hardware soon! I have tons of resources that I'm going through so I'm hoping to knock some text adventure games out.

Just got my VSC setup for at least C64 basic/asm programming and compiling (the assembler I use also works with NES but I have yet able to set that up but it will be there when the new retro game dev book comes out!

Anyways thanks again for reading and I'll keep trying to update my journey. Also working on my first novel as well.

Let's do this!
